Meditation: The Year of The Grind Revisited

Hello World and Haaaaaappy Meditation Mondaaaaaaay!!

It’s a new week here at LCP and we are starting the week off with our #GRIND in mind! At the start of the New Year we introduced the mantra #TheYearOfTheGrind to the site. The team and I collectively decided that this would be the year of evolution for LCP and our personal goals, and we went into the New Year planned up, goaled out, and ready to #LiveTheCreed & #BreedTheCreed!

Here we are in the 6th month of 2016 and I am sure life has thrown us all several curveballs that may or may not have offset our plans a bit. If only temporarily, at some point we all face obstacles that could make or break us.

The last week of March brought two deaths in my family. All in the same week, we stumbled upon the death anniversary of one family member, while inducting 2 new anniversaries into our realm of remembrance. This really offset my mental and emotional equilibrium and I had to regain control of my thoughts, plans, life, and goals. For weeks I felt completely unwilling to work. Not uninspired, but unwilling. I had tons of ideas running through my mind, as my creative mind is very stimulated by tragedy. But I couldn’t will myself to sit at the computer and get to work, I was extremely apathetic. However, I’d been working too hard and diligently at a few projects and had some pretty awesome things in the works, so I couldn’t allow everything to just fall by the wayside; I had to pick myself up and get back to business.

HOW’D I GET BACK ON TRACK?

As I sat in meditation one day, all the goals that I had been trending to accomplish started surfacing in my minds’ eye, and I began to panic. I realized how much work would have been done in vain if I didn’t pull myself together and get my #GRIND back in order. That’s when “The Year of The Grind” mantra popped into my head. I’d written such a powerful declaration of persistence, perseverance, success, and determination, and it was time I reestablished the powerful vibrations of that creed.

THE CREED-

In case you missed out on #TheYearOfTheGrind and the super easy, fool-proof formula, check it out now!

EXCERPT:

NOW I’M GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR GRIND AT A GLANCE!

First you have to write your vision and leave nothing out. Be realistic with your goals or realistic with yourself about your work ethic, and determine what you want to accomplish this year. Try to do this with the idea in mind, that you want your vision to equate to 12 goals that will complete one major goal. After that, extract the actual goals from the vision and break them into 12 grinds. Reference the formula below!

THE FORMULA-

1 YEAR = 12 MONTHS

12 MONTHS = 12 GRINDS

12 GRINDS = 1 GRIND PER MONTH

1 GRIND / 4 WEEKS = 4 MINI GRINDS

4 MINI GRINDS / 4 WEEKS = 1 MINI GRIND PER WEEK

4 MINI GRINDS = 1 FULL GRIND

You are in control of your own destiny, empower yourself and own the responsibility of bringing your dreams into fruition. Faith without works is dead, so put in the work and #GRIND. Command the universe to bend to your will, and realize the power that lies within your tongue. You are a Creator, equipped with powerful vibrations that can remove the challenges of opposing forces from your path. The Creator made us in the image of greatness and it is up to us to realize this potential and tap into it.

I challenge you to take control of your destiny and speak this powerful mantra over your day. Mentally prepare yourself to move forward, and press on into your God given purpose.
