Good Morning  LCP Loves, 

Today is a brand new day. A day to start a positive habit that will enhance your life.. Wow!!! Doesn't that sound great??? Mediation can become so organic, that it'll feel like you came out the womb meditating! But first, there are a few techniques you'll need to master in order for meditation to become second nature to you. Here are a few tips that will help you along the way. Keep reading, lol I'll be sharing them real soon! lol

Going on my educational journey through my holistic practitioner courses, I learned that sitting for hours on end trying to get your thoughts under control is not the way to perceive meditation. Meditation is a tool to gain a closer spiritual connection and clarity in your life. 

At this point I had discovered how meditation could help my family and I day to day, but I was still struggling to find the "right" moment to do so. Even with all the planning and schedules, I never could find the time to really dig into myself and become this incredibly enlightened being, LOL.

Everywhere in my home was busy with kids doing something! From homework, to video games, running around making noise, or playing pretend, someone was always doing something. Loudly! My honey had the basement on reserve as a studio so I never felt comfortable enough to relax and fully experience the power of meditation in there. I would forget to breath or hold my breath. There was no mindfulness in my breathing down there and that was a problem. When we think of breathing we just automatically do it, but in meditation BREATHING is key. I tried our bathrooms, no good... our then 1 year old daughter would stick her hands underneath the doors and repeatedly call my name. I tried our bedroom, that was a no go, LOL... At the time our 8 year old son would jiggle the knob and ask me "mom what are you doing, I need to come in". He would say this like it was life or death!!' Lol sooo after reading and researching, I decided that I would create a meditation room. My meditation room would be my sacred space and my family would know it was mine. And when mommy entered that room, they were not allowed!!!! With that being said here are the 2 tips I would like to leave with you on #MediationMonday!

Meditation Mantra Tip #3 

Creating a Sacred Space 

A Sacred  space is  a space that is dedicated to a spiritual purpose. When you walk into your sacred space you should feel at peace. Your sacred space can be decorated according to your visial preferences.

Chose colors that resonant with your spirit, add plants, pictures and even water art! You could even have serene music playing. The sacred space is yours for you to feel peaceful and joyful. 

Meditation Mantra Tip #4 

Mindful Breaths 

Breathing is a function of the body we do all day everyday with out really thinking about it, but breathing is an essential part of any mediation practice. Deep breathing helps relax your body & mind.  We sit with our eyes partially closed and turn our attention to our breathing. We breathe naturally, preferably through the nostrils, without attempting to control our breath, and we try to become aware of the sensation of the breath as it enters and leaves the nostrils.

For this week I would like to leave you with the Meditation Mantra.... "Only good lies before me".....  If you change the way you look at things the things around you change. When you can begin to believe that you deserve good and good things are awaiting you, life becomes more exciting. You start to look forward to your present and future!!!
