Float Meditation: Elements Float Spa 280

F L O A T  M E D I T A T I O N

Meditation is modern day mental massage therapy. For beginning, intermediate and advanced yogi's and meditators, there is often nothing more calming and soothing than a relaxing meditation session to begin or end a hectic day. Even midday meditation is great way to regain control and mental and emotional balance in your day. Couple the soothing effects of meditation with relaxing float therapy, and you've got a way to alleviate stress and tension in your mind, body, and soul.

Float Meditation, primitively known as "sensory deprivation", was developed in 1954 by Dr. John C. Lilly, in study of the origin of consciousness and its relation to the brain. Through experiments on himself and other scientists, they discovered that the float tank could induce a relaxed state, which was unexpectedly pleasant, and both physically and mentally rewarding. Fast forward 60 years, and we now have the spiritually invigorating, creativity stimulating, bodily rejuvenating practice of float meditation!

With a 1,000 plus pounds of Epsom salt mineralizing the water, you are given a weightless floating experience.
